Swifts, Swallows, oak and shrooms!
Hello from Pixie Made HQ.
I have taken a few moments to write this whilst listening to the Swifts and the Blackbird.
We noticed the swifts arrived on 27th April here on the south coast. They are our sound of summer, as their screeching call can be heard in the sky.
We have had the most beautiful weather, and everything is bursting into life, including our Wisteria, that seemed to die back in 2020. After a couple of years, new shoots appeared, and this year it is back in glorious bloom!

I have been busy making new pieces of jewellery for our annual visit to Butser Ancient Farm for the Beltane celebrations this Saturday

Last year when setting up our little white tent to trade at Butser, the swallows were swooping over us. All day they went back and forth to a nest in the workshop buildings at Butser.
So this year I wanted to make something special for the Beltane celebration, and Swallows seemed to be the right thing.
They will be available on my website soon, for those who cannot make Butser, so subscribers, please keep an eye out for an email letting you know the date and time soon!

I will add more info on events soon.
I am very busy getting the last of my ‘Black Fox’ jewellery ready for the Wild Folk exhibition next month, so I may not post things for a while.

You can find more info on the Wild Folk exhibition at:
Happy Beltane
With love
