On 19 th June my husband Matt and I set off to Exmoor.

We were invited by Seven Fables to join them in the launch of Wild Folk, tales from the stones by Jackie Morris and Tamsin Abbott.

The launch at White Rock Cottage in Simonsbath in the heart of Exmoor, exhibited Tamsin’s wonderful glass illustrations for the book. It was a perfect setting for the wild folk to gather.

Two years ago I was asked to create some jewellery inspired by the black fox’s tale for the exhibition. It has been an honour to be involved with such an inspiring project, and to spend time with Artists I have long admired.

We met so many wonderful people. The preview on the Friday was so busy, and the weather was glorious!

Tamsin has collectors of her work all over the world, so it was wonderful that one couple came over from Canada to the preview.

There are a few pieces of my work available on the Seven Fables website soon.

The wonderful weekend ended in a rather damp, and windy walk to a standing stone at Westermill Farm on Exmoor. Where Jackie read from the Wild Folk book to a group of wet wild folk!

Let the wild gods rise!
