I hope you all had a wonderful festive season.
I apologise for the late blog!
I closed up my studio for a much needed break with my family on 20th December. We headed to Somerset for a week, staying at the South lodge at Montacute, a National Trust property.
We greeted the Solstice Dawn from the grounds of the Elizabethan great house.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the grounds were
closed to the public, it was a real treat to have it to ourselves, we had a beautiful sunset on Christmas Eve, and stunning blue sky on Christmas Day.

We also had wonderful clear starry nights. Lots of rest, sketching, walking and feasting! We loved being at Montacute.
We did manage to get out for a visit to Glastonbury and a lovely meal at the George and Pilgrims. We also made a trip to Dulverton, it was great to visit the gorgeous Seven Fables, the gallery that stock my work, and the stunning work of Tamsin Abbot and Jackie Morris. If you are in the area, you must visit!

We had a wonderful week.
I am now rested and inspired to get back into my studio to create lots of new jewellery for 2025.

I have lots of exciting events and exhibitions on the horizon, so I will be quietly working away in my studio for a few weeks….. news to follow soon
